Convert to Higher (or Lower) Octane Fuels

Whether you are fitting a new standalone ECU or you have an existing Motec, Gems or Pectel ECU already fitted to your rally car, we can map it to run on any grade of petrol.


We have vast experience in running engines on 95 pump fuel right upto 106 drag grade racing fuel. We can achieve significant increases in torque and BHP using Shell 101clubman and 102turbo octane fuels and Cool Blue 106 octane fuel where permitted.

We have achieved 780Bhp from our own 2.6 ltr engine using 102 octane Shell rally fuel, with no knocking or detonation whatsoever. We have also got over 400bhp from our 2.0 ltr Evo8 engines(unrestricted) and over 180bhp from our 1.3 Suzuki engine. The two grades of fuel we concentrate on for rallying are:

Turbo Rally
This is the highest performance fuel available, ideally suited to Turbo Cars.

R101
This is a high performance, budget conscious fuel, which has turned out results that better several, more costly fuels, in both turbo and normally aspirated cars.

For drag racing and racing where the regs permit it we use 106octane fuel.
